What Being a Travel Blogger is Really Like

I hear it all the time…

“You have the best job!”

“I wish I had a job like that!”

And my personal favorite, “Oh, so you get paid to travel….  That must be tough.”

Well, actually, it’s not as easy as people think, or as glamorous.

Wondering what the “dream job” of being a travel blogger is really like?  I cover everything from how much you can expect to pay out of your own pocket to how much you have to work, how to figure out your niche to how to keep your travel blog alive when you’re not actually traveling in the article  How To Become a Travel Blogger : Honest Tips for Type A Parent.

Along with the hard questions, I share real life examples and tips for those who are ready to dive into travel blogging.  Check it out at Type A Parent.  And hey, if you want to share your travel story- but don’t want to devote an entire blog to travel, send a pitch my way.  I accept guest posts here at Family Rambling.

@iatraveler love the questions you get asked, we always get 'How long will you keep doing this for?’...like there is an end to it!

@iatraveler Maybe we should answer back - 'How long will you keep living in that house, working at that job and driving that car?'
