This Year I Will….

I am really, really, really, bad at keeping resolutions.  So I try not to make them.  But there are things I want to learn, accomplish or conquer.  My list for this year…

1) Actually learn Irish.  I’ve been in an Irish class for almost a year and have access to a terrific online Irish course.  But I don’t focus on it as I should.  I plan to change that this year and speak Irish when I arrive on Ireland’s shores in the spring.

2) Take time for things I want to do- like genealogy and scrapbooking.  Right now I spend weekends at home playing catch up from the week before.  And while I love my work, everyone needs time away.

3) I got a great new camera for Christmas- an Olympus PEN.  I want to learn how to use it well.  And then learn how to use my editing software.  Both are really great items with so many capabilities I have no idea even exist.  That’s where p52 comes in.

project 52 p52 weekly photo challenge my3boybarians.comEvery week a new photo challenge.  This week’s challenge is “Resolutions”.  The image below showcases a few of mine:learning to use my camera and editing software better and spending more time with family.  My grandmother (who is just getting her hair back after chemo) is very interested in family genealogy.  So, birds and stones, all encompassed in this over all “average” photo of my grandparents with my daughters.
