The Best Day Pack- Ever!
I’m kind of picky when it comes to bags, so when I was looking for a day pack that would also tote my camera, I looked for quite a while. After much comparison and deliberation, I purchased the Lowepro Photo Sport Sling. I adore it- and it is my “go to” bag for active outings.
I love that it isn’t too big- but can still carry a DSLR (or my camera, the Olympus Pen E-PL1 ) and an extra lens in a special, padded pocket. The single strap means I can access the camera and lens without taking the bag off my back. And the myriad of pockets means I have everything else I need, safely stowed and easily accessible.
But my favorite feature of the bag is the rain cover. It was indispensable during a recent, rainy, trip to Ireland. I would keep my camera around my neck and just slip it under the rain cover as we walked.
I highly recommend this bag for any active photographer. Bonus: the orange (which I have) is fun and easy to spot.
