Have you had a great Illinois vacation? Or maybe you have ideas of just how an Illinois vacation should be? Here’s your chance to share your thoughts- and put yourself in the running for one of three Magnificent Getaways in Illinois!
The grand prize is a posh Chicago getaway for 4 (including an executive room at Trump Tower and dinner for 4 at the Skydeck Chicago on The Ledge). First prize is a Springfield getaway for 4 (including hotel, tours and even a catered lunch). Second prize is a Lake Country getaway for 4 (with a suite at Key Lime Cove, waterpark and amusement park passes).
This contest does require a bit of work- a story in 100 words or less about your fabulous Illinois getaway, or your idea of a great getaway. Be sure to include photos! Then you’ll rally your friends for a public vote before official judging.

My husband was born in Illinois and has a family there.His brother has M S and in bad condition.They are close but in 1996 my husband was given a recalled drug for seizures but not pulled at hospital in error. He wasn't expected to live and GOD saw different..We have been married 35 years & never a honeymoon. Only two times we came to Illinois were funerals.I would love to see all the things he experienced growing up & reunite brothers after 33 years.It may the last time together.IT would mean the world!
