Volunteer “Tourism” with Soles4Souls

I’ve had a few questions come in about volunteer tourism.  I’ll admit that it’s not something I know much about but I did get some information from a charity called Soles4Souls about opportunities through their organization so I wanted to share it.

About Soles4Souls

Soles4Souls collects used shoes in good condition and “recycles” them to areas in need.  For example:  I took over 200 pair to Nashville last February to send to Haiti after the earthquake.  In fact, shoes were delivered to Haiti last week.  I can’t imagine how it must feel to be a part of a journey like that- though one day I would love to join them.
